But after the year of "bug 2000" many hi-tech companies offered new security services and by only then online casinos gained their advantage over free online version of casinos, and by the end of 2001 online casinos companies have reported large revenues from their business.

Though many thought that this industry would push land based casinos out of business it didn't occur, and actually they enjoyed from this bloom as well when millions of online users have started to use their vacation's time to get "the real thing". Also, regular gamblers have started to bet online and in land based casinos as well. It seems that online casinos have brought a new golden age to the gambling industry.
